It is very common to outgrow your penis pump after following Dr. Kaplan’s pumping guidelines for a few months. You can purchase larger pump cylinders individually, without having to buy a whole new pump system.

The First Expansion Cylinder is the primary cylinder used to enhance your erection. This cylinder will help you achieve an erection, and will also bring more blood-flow to your natural erection, making it bigger and harder. The Second Expansion Cylinder is designed to further maximize your length gains, by gently tugging on the suspensory ligament in the back of the penis. This cylinder is bigger, because you pump both your penis and testicles together, while flaccid, at a very low pressure. The E.D. Cylinder is specially designed to help maintain an erection for sex if you have problems holding your erection. The rimless design allows you to slide a constriction ring from the cylinder, onto the base of your penis, once you have achieved an erection for sex in the cylinder. After you remove the pump cylinder, the erection will be held in place by the constriction ring.

If you cannot maintain pressure in the cylinder, this is likely because you do not have a complete vacuum seal. Air is entering into the cylinder. Step 1: Ensure your skin has complete contact with the cylinder. Pubic hair may interfere. We recommend trimming or shaving. Step 2: We recommend lubricating the bottom of the cylinder and the base of your penis. This will prevent air from entering and assist in creating a complete vacuum seal, and will help avoid skin irritation. Only use water-based lubricant as other lubricants are difficult to wash and will damage the cylinder over time. Step 3: If you have the wrong size cylinder, this may prevent you from obtaining a complete vacuum seal. You may need to get a different sized cylinder.

When pumping, use low pressure at the beginning of your session. Wait for blood-flow to enter the penis, then gradually raise the pressure. If you are experiencing discoloration, swelling, bruising, or numbness, the vacuum pressure inside the cylinder is too high. Immediately release or lower the pressure inside the cylinder. These side-effects from “over-pumping” are temporary and will subside in a few days. Wait for these side-effects to subside before continuing to use the pump systems.
